“NEF” is a hybrid animated short film that centers around the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, bringing her awesome and fearful history to life with narrated story-telling.
Problems arise, however, when that story is being told by three ill-informed university students who can’t agree on the facts of the late queen’s life.

Nefertiti is a spirited, lively glyph-like character who reacts with enthusiasm or disdain to everything the students say.
She is eager for power and glory, often meeting situations with frustration or confusion if she doesn’t get her way.
